Update did not help

The latest version of iHeartRadio for Auto, 1.7.0, still will not work with NissanConnect, 2015 Rogue, on an iPhone 5S with iOS 8. It mostly returns a message that there is not a device connected via usb. Sometimes it acts like it is going to work, commandeering the radio and displaying the iHeart logo, but never connects. The app’s home homescreen on the phone says ‘connecting’.

Interestingly, I tried an old iPhone 4 running iOS7. Had to tether to the 5S for internet connection. Worked fine, but definitely a pain and not a solution. Both phones were tried using the latest versions of NissonConnect and iHeart apps.
